So last week, my father died. And in between the traveling, the hospital, and the time spent with him and with other family members, I started to grieve. Now grieving is not the same for everyone… or anyone. We are all different which means how we grieve will also be different. But in spending time with my stepmom, we both mentioned how positive quotes and affirmations are really effective in helping us process life. So it seemed to make sense to gather some healing grief quotes that I could read, absorb, and remember through the healing process, and share with others who are grieving.

The thing is, most of the grief quotes I found were kind of somber and sad. I wanted words that spoke in an uplifting, encouraging way. I know as we pass 50 and better, we will all encounter grief more and more often. Our parents, family, even friends. And the grieving process really never ends, it just changes shape with time. So to all you older women who are having to deal with grief, these quotes are for you. Please use them to lift yourself up, send this article to a friend who could use an encouraging moment, and save your favorite one on your phone to look upon on a tough day. At the moment that I am writing this, I am sending positive thoughts to each and every one of you who is dealing with grief. ♥️
